Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest? Luke 12:25-26

Auntie Anne week

This week, starting today, I will be taking up a lot of responsibility with taking care of Carter, the nephew! His mom just left on a vacation to California so I'm helping my brother with his daddy duties! Also, I'll get to spend some quality time with brother #2, and I'm pretty excited about that too.

Not too much to report on since I've been home that I haven't already mentioned. My backgammon addiction is growing, but I taught Chris how to play and he likes it too! I was not going to order my own game to take to college because I was afraid no one would want to play with me, since it's not a common game anymore. But now that Chris likes it, I'm reconsidering ordering one! I'll just use my Amazon money, thank you Zenpep!

And lastly, I knew Harry Potter was a good book, but McKenzy found it especially enticing....

Ugh. Dog.

No FB and a good book

So my facebook was shut off a few days ago: surprisingly a way less big of a deal than I thought. I haven't really missed it actually...

And instead, I've done a lot of reading! I just finished the 4th Harry Potter book and am about halfway through the 5th. I love these books and I'm really enjoying rereading them.

Today I got to see Carter for the first time in 2 weeks or so, and first time after seeing Kiarda. Wow is there a difference! It's crazy how much a difference 8 months makes in a baby's life. Wow oh wow.

I've been kinda anti-internet since FB shut down, actually. Which is why I haven't been posting much. I have gotten addicted to backgammon too! OH MY it's not healthy how much I play. Haha! I love playing against Mom, she's really good. She's the one who taught me how to play and the strategies of the game. I'm totally bringing this old school game back to college with me. Thank you Zenpep points!

Ok. It's currently Tuesday night. At 5:45am Thursday, I LEAVE FOR BOSTON!!!!!!!! :]]]] I'm super super duper excited. I won't have access to a computer while I'm there so no blog updates until I get back, but with it will come a picture with me meeting Lauren!! This trip is going to be fun! I can't wait!

I had mentioned a few posts back that I moved the Vest to the morning. I also moved Pulmozyme to the morning too, since those two go hand-in-hand. I like the results. I think I might need to add a second Vest treatment to the evening, but I definitely need it in the morning too. I get a lot up and out with the morning CPT.

Night!

Sleep, Zenpep, and new walking shoes!

How many hours of sleep did I get Saturday night? 10, and woke up still sick, but not tired! I was miserable Sunday morning.... again. Mom gave me a mani/pedi to help make me feel better. That combined with my puppy helped. I tried eating some food, since I hadn't eaten since lunch the day before, and I felt so incredibly sick afterwards. Luckily everything stayed on the correct course south, if you know what I mean. Sunday night, I hung with some of my very favourite people: Casey, Alissa, and Vizza. We had a girl's night at Alissa's house and had a great time catching up! I felt just slightly sick last night/this morning too. Not ok! I'm taking all the meds, so I should be feeling fine. We even upped my enzyme dosage... ugh I'm keeping an eye on it.

Sunday my mom and I went new walking-shoe shopping! We both needed good shoes for walking all over Boston and we found some! I got the Asics Strike 2 and I love it. (The colours aren't right on the link: I got purple and silver; I searched online for 20 minutes and never found my shoe in the right colours online, so that's the best I can do for ya!) They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever put on my feet. My mom also got a pair of Asics and she loves them.
I joined the Z-points program! It's for those people who take Zenpep enzymes. After I registered and logged in all of my Zenpep bottles, (including one I went recycling bin diving for thanks to Mom) I had enough points to order two $50 Amazon Giftcards!!!!!!!! I'm saving up for a Kindle! Almost every month I'll have enough points to order another card, and I'm really excited about this. It's kinda like back when TOBI used to allow us to order a $5 Blockbuster card or a $5 McDonald's giftcard with each TOBI refill, except 10x better (literally). Thank you, Zenpep!

If you are not a part of this program yet take Zenpep and want to be, LET ME KNOW because I get a lot of points for each person I refer.

Time to Wii Fit!
