Here's the plan: No Vest while I'm still doing this, Dad's bringing me some Vitamin K (at the suggestion of Fatboy) because I was taken off of it a while back. I'm on Cayston and bactrum already, so any infection will be taken care of, hopefully. I'm also calling my clinic tomorrow to talk to my doctor and to see what the official game plan will be.
In the mean time, I have homework to finish and a few more preparations for Big sis/Lil sis week starting tomorrow! Let the to-do lists begin!

Just beware that any really effective antibiotics have the potential for blood as the infection clears and leaves an open wound in its place, which should heal or scar on its own if your blood and vitamins are at good levels.
I even had some from the Cayston trials last year, it's so effective, and I had a single blood loogie after starting IVs for my sinus surgery last week, but that's it. No "episodes."
You're smart to call the clinic. Always get them involved when this happens.
I'm sending you best wishes from CA that it resolves on its own.
